Who we are

This website, vervaai.ae, is operated by Verva AI, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Verva AI”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

The law we follow

We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (the PDPL), and its implementing regulations.

What we collect

Contact form. When you submit the contact form or book an audit, we collect your name, company, email address, WhatsApp number and your message. This is saved in our website system and emailed to our team. A confirmation email is sent to the address you provided.

Messages you send us. If you email or WhatsApp us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and follow up.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

We do not collect special categories of data through this website, and we ask you not to include sensitive information in the contact form.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange an audit or quote.
• To send you information you asked for about our services.
• To keep the website secure and working.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting the site, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website: which pages they land on, which buttons and links they click, how far they scroll, and where they leave. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we do not use it to identify you.

Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, or have not chosen yet, Google receives only cookieless visit counts that do not identify your browser. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function may always be used.

AI providers

If you use the chat assistant on this website, the messages you type are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write a reply. We do not store chat transcripts on our website, and your conversation is kept only in your browser tab until you close it. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Verva AI also uses third-party AI providers when building and running AI systems for clients. Data handling for client projects is set out in each service agreement.

Who we share it with

• Hosting: the website and form submissions are hosted with Hostinger.
• Email: form notifications and confirmations are sent through our email provider.
• Analytics: Google, for website usage statistics, as described under Cookies.
• Chat assistant: Anthropic, for the messages you type into the chat, as described under AI providers.
• Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it.

We do not share your data with anyone else without telling you.

International transfers

Our hosting, email, analytics and AI providers may store or process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, as permitted by the PDPL. Contact us if you want details of the safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete it, unless you become a client or the law requires us to keep it longer. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

• Give you access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
• Stop or restrict processing, or object to it, including for direct marketing.
• Provide your data in a portable format where applicable.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise any right, email info@vervaai.ae. We respond within the period required by law and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit and reputable providers to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and we will inform you and the relevant authority of any breach as the PDPL requires.

Children

This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
